RMAD is please to announce our first-ever T-Shirt Design Contest. Great prizes have been donated to entice you into entering your best artwork in two categories. We’re looking for hip, creative, unique and contemporary designs. More information, deadline and rules can be found here. If you have any questions, please email us. We look forward to seeing your entries.

The RMAD Action Committee will be meeting August 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the RMAD office. This group will help RMAD create a vision for future outreach, events and action (protest and demonstrations). If you’d like to participate, please contact Lynne Sprague for more information.

Our Colorado guide to vegetarianism, Compassionate Living, has been a huge success and is going into its second printing. Its impact isn’t limited to Colorado though, as one reader from Connecticut said, “Just wanted to let you know that although I do not live in Colorado, after reading Compassionate Living, I've not only gone back to being a vegetarian, but am changing to veganism. I absolutely LOVE soy yogurt and the soy frozen desserts... I am going to try to locate any veg societies in Connecticut. Thanks for pulling the ‘wool’ from my eyes!”

Speaking of cruelty-free shopping: if you’re at the Wild Oats at the Basemar Plaza in Boulder, be sure to skip the paper and plastic and deposit your wooden nickel in the RMAD donation box. These nickels will add up to a nice donation for our organization.

And if you haven’t yet renewed your membership with Colorado’s only all-animal advocacy organization, please do! You can follow this link, call the RMAD office, or mail it to the address at right.

Thanks for reading.
