VegColorado.com Has a New Blog
Helmed by RMAD board member, advocate and all around vegan guru Ryan Andrews, the VegColorado Blog is a compilation of news, commentary and insight into all things vegan – animals rights, health, marketing, the environment, and much more. As usual, it’s peppered with Ryan’s wit and keen eye for interesting bits from all over the world.

Check it out here! Updates will be added every couple of weeks. And don’t forget to check out Ryan’s Q&A column, Ask Ryan!

You Heard it Here First

Our Feline Friends are Hosting a Tasty Event
Divine Feline and Rocky Mountain Alley Cat Alliance has a dining out day at the WaterCourse Foods (837 E 17th Ave, Denver) on Monday, October 20. Eat at WaterCourse that day and they will donate a portion of your bill to help the cats. Great food for two great causes!

RMAD will have a Dining Out Day at WaterCourse in February. Do you have a favorite restaurant that will support RMAD? Let Mike Stabler know at 303-449-4422 or mikes@rmad.org.

Volunteer Opportunities

Humane education speakers: RMAD's THINK GLOBAL Humane Education Program is a network of volunteers who deliver talks to school groups, social clubs, churches and other organizations. Potential speakers will be provided with training (to be offered in both Denver and Boulder). More information and a volunteer form here.

Letter writers: We’ve assembled a team of letter writers to address issues in the local (Colorado) media. As needs arise, we will send out a form e-mail that includes the pertinent media, names and addresses, tips, background information, etc.—making it as easy as possible for you to lend your voice on behalf of animals. Click here to get started.
