Good resources
are essential in our struggle for animal rights. Knowing whom to
call, whom to turn to, and what to say are what itıs all about.
RMAD is part of a larger effort to share resources to ensure animal
advocacy is as effective as possible. The following resources will
help you with your advocacy efforts.
RMAD's Email
Lists RMAD maintains the following e-mail lists:
Members
The members list provides information, news, action alerts, questions, and
topics directly related to animal rights and animal welfare issues.
Please keep the discussions and e-mails related to animals, especially
animals in the Rocky Mountain region.
Announce
RMAD management posts important RMAD-related information on the
announce list, such as meeting dates, protests, calls to action,
etc. The goal of this list is low traffic and high relevance. This
list features a biweekly summary of happenings (eNews) as well as occasional
urgent announcements.
Talk
The talk list is for RMAD members to discuss anything they would
like to discuss. The hope is that our common interest in animal
issues will focus the discussion on animal and related issues.
Healing
This list is for anyone who wants to make a request from the rest
of us for the healing or for the process of (and acceptance of)
death by both human and non-human family members. The others can
then remember these animals daily. Also, please keep the rest of
us informed of your animals' situation (as it changes), as often
as possible.
Health
HEALTH (Humans, Earth, Animals, Living Together in Harmony)
This list offers food- and health-related issues, preventative medicine, delicious
recipes, resources, and more!
